Beelden Sculptures

Mijn beelden ontwikkelden zich vanuit zachte vormen (zakken) en met textiel omwikkelde objecten tot de huidige vlammen (sinds 1995). Vlammen als aanduiding voor energie, speels en beangstigend tegelijkertijd. Recent is de wankele tafel opgedoken als metafoor voor samenzijn. De wankele vormen verwijzen naar tijdelijkheid en het vaak moeizame proces tussen mensen.

My sculptures developed from soft forms (sacks) and enwrapped objects with fabric and steel till the present flames. About in 1995 I started with this en in recent times also the tablelike forms are coming up. The flame as a metaphor for energy, playful and scaring at the same time. The table presents togetherness. Hospitallity. But the unstable forms are also pointing at Temporarity and uncertainty
